Strengthening of Gotong Royong Value in Society Through a Leadership

Abstract

Humans as creatures that cannot live alone, but need other people in various ways, such as socializing, working, community service, security, and others. Collaboration carried out together is referred to as mutual cooperation, eventually becoming a strategy in a pattern of shared life that eases the burden on a social need. Based on the background of the problem, the formulation of the problem in this study are (1) What is the leadership role of the Cikuya Village Chief in Cicalengka District, Bandung Regency (2) What is the level of community participation in Cikuya Village, Cicalengka District, Bandung (3) the value of mutual cooperation in Cikuya Village, Cicalengka District, Bandung Regency. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method approach. Based on the results of the study, it was found that (1) Leadership Role of Cikuya Village Head, Cicalengka District, Bandung Regency had the role of village development planner, village development organizers, village development implementers, village development supervisors (2) Level of community participation in Cikuya Village, Cicalengka District, Bandung opportunity for the community to participate in decision makers, community participation in program implementation, participation in taking various benefits and participating in evaluation in development projects. (3) Efforts of the Cikuya Village Head in building the values of mutual cooperation between Cikuya Village, Cicalengka Sub-District, Bandung Regency, can not be separated from the concrete actions that have been taken to the community, including as motivators, facilitators and mobilizers.
